GREBT (CEO Choi Hang-joo) announced on the 19th that it has signed a USD 1 million investment and supply agreement with Jordan-based SAI, led by CEO Waleed Hamdan, for its portable urine glucose meter URINOUGH. The agreement was concluded during Global Mobile Vision 2023, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of Korea.

GREBT stated that the partnership was established to accelerate its entry into the Middle Eastern market. The company expects the agreement to not only attract overseas investment and stimulate domestic investment but also serve as a catalyst for its broader global market expansion.

SAI, a member firm of Kreston Global, is a financial and investment consulting company specializing in fundraising, tax advisory, management consulting, and strategic business planning.

Under the agreement, GREBT will be responsible for the production of URINOUGH, while SAI will handle investment and local supply of the product in Jordan.

GREBT is a bio-healthcare company focused on developing non-invasive diagnostic devices that measure biological signals from urine, along with data platforms that enable efficient health data management. The company is currently developing glucose measurement sensors and data platforms for diabetes and diabetic complication management, and plans to launch additional sensors for creatinine, insulin concentration, and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c).
